NATURE COUGHS, EARTH SHIVERS

Distant hurricane all so scary,
Blinding lightening, things going awry,
Sudden blast of thunderbolt, everyone into frenzy,
Subsequent flooding, sweeping all in a hurry…
Signs that the future is too blurry…
So dim that we can’t fathom the nature’s fury.
The anger it retaliates with, indeed scary,
But it’s us to blame for all the worries.

Not long ago the harmony was conspicuous,
Between man and nature the serenity was obvious,
All this time, he was just very curious,
Ignoring that any attempt would be perilous,
Only to fulfill his own ego.. gluttony,
So unfair he is to nature, we could say blasphemy.

And with all the vengeance, nature cares, not the least,
In bitterness it hits back in Herculean magnitude,
That which baffles all into shivers,
Yes, it does cause ripples among the arrogant,
Inconsiderate, discourteous and officious humanity,
Wallowing in their over assertive realms of despotism.

Not much is visible in the horizon,
Blocked my resultant foggy atmosphere,
The future too bleak and dull to promise sunshine,
The sky so clear n blue to promise rain,
The grounds dry and barren to even expect harvest,
Heat waves, cold spells, earthquakes, mudslides…
All in vengeful response to the malpractices.
We surely face a head plunge into the dungeon.
